Cathedral Ruins

Here I tried to depict a ruin of a cathedral in an angelic environment. The idea is that it is being attacked by demonic entities and the dome has been formed through magic to help protect those surviving left inside.

An attempt at producing line art for the final piece, although this was only purely used as a base to paint over.

Here I painted up the line drawing using a verity of different Photoshop brushes to produce goo looking grass and water. I also decided to change up the ruins of the cathedral to look a lot more like ruins here as the original looked too polished and comp

Here I added a dome to the final image to get across that a small area is still somewhat protected against the demonic invasions.

Here I added small details such as reflections in the water and birds in the sky.

I decided to play with colour to create some variation in the design.
